B.A (Hons) English: Mythology, Media, Film and AI Incorporated

The Department of English is one of the first four departments along with Economics , Mathematics and Commerce started in 2015 with 36 students on the rolls in the Under Graduate course- BA English Language and Literature. The program offers a detailed study of British Literature and opens up opportunities as it includes job oriented courses like Journalism , Film studies, English Language Teaching, Women’s Writings and Copy Editing as elective. Its unique features will help the students to develop a healthy and noble vision of life. The department has been focusing on promoting the communication skill of students entering the portals of technical as well as higher education in the campus. It is equipped with a collection of more than 1000 books. The department has been following various students supporting programs including tutorial system, remedial teaching, PTA meeting, peer teaching, debates and seminars besides bridge courses and value added programs. The department has produced commendable results in the university examinations over the years.
